I have always loved Greek and Roman mythology, the story of Daedalus and Icarus one of my favorites from childhood. My wings also signify my passion for running and athletics.
I recently got out of a bad relationship and am now the happiest I have ever been. I wanted to get a tattoo that signified my absolute love for life. I chose the octopus because they are beautiful, graceful and go with the flow of things and the key is part of a sister tattoo: I have a key, she has a lock.

My tattoo for my Moms… got it for her as a Christmas present last year, she’s always loved hot air ballons & i plan on taking her up in one someday :) since i was a little girl always & forever by Luther Vandross has been our song & like my love for her it’ll be always and forever :)
My tattoo starts off as a dandelion that’s blowing in the wind, then the pedals falling off turn into birds that are flying off my shoulder. It’s not my first tattoo, but it’s my first big one.

This is my photo I got almost a year ago. It has a lot of meaning and is definitely one of my favorite tattoos I have.

A dream-catcher on my left shoulder. For my native american heritage, (I received a call during the session confirming my Indian Nation scholarship, irony), also symbolizes the strange relation I have with my dreams/nightmares and reality. And I love dreamcatchers…
